Thoughts of West Marin usually conjure up images of organic farms, cows and surfboards. But set atop an isolated hilltop in San Geronimo Canyon sits a strikingly composed property reminiscent of a luxury resort in a far-away place. The solidly built structure is sited on five-acres of unmanicured grounds and features undisturbed views of rolling hills. The scale and finishes are of the highest quality. A dramatic entry and gallery connect generous sized rooms throughout. The layout is an ode to a bygone era of separation of space but yet there is an airiness that unifies the sophisticated spaces. One of my favorite features in the home are the his and hers master baths. The grounds feature a resort worthy pool, olive trees for oil pressing, and areas for chickens and bees.
